Tau awarded $7M California Competes Tax Credit

Award helps advance employment though the California Jobs First Initiative

REDWOOD CITY, California — 09-10-2024 — Tau Motors, Inc. announce that the company has been awarded a $7 million dollar California Competes Tax Credit to advance employment though the California Jobs First Initiative

Tau will further R&D in the company’s groundbreaking software-defined power conversion platform as we partner with leading automakers, suppliers and industry accelerating the creation of more than 150 new jobs over the coming years. 

Governor Newsom said,  “This funding will help business create good-paying jobs….and support the state’s economic dominance for years to come.”
